When passion jonesz was diagnosed with heart disease, she did what any self-respecting patient would do. She booked a ticket to the beach and began her journey to heart health.
She has learned that no professional accomplishment is greater than good health and that nothing matters more to her than the quality of her life. That is why she continues to speak on behalf of the American Heart Association and has become a National Volunteer.

What is your story?
After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, Jones attended Wayne State School of Medicine in Detroit and completed her surgical residency with an emphasis in trauma and general orthopedics. She then spent two years working under Dr. Jeffery Mast, a distinguished professor and renowned alumni of the AO-ASIF group in Switzerland.

She is a life-long learner and is passionate about sharing her knowledge and skill with young aspiring medical professionals. She has also taken several trips to Belize with her husband, a dental hygienist, and has helped to care for cleft lip/palate patients in Guatemala. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, soap making and craft-beer brewing.
