Adam Sandler has been seen walking with a cane lately, which seems to indicate that he’s on the road to recovery after recently undergoing hip surgery around Labor Day. TMZ reported earlier this week that the 56-year-old Uncut Gems actor was relying on the aid as he went about his daily life. He’s now reportedly recovering from his hip surgery and will be back on the road for his comedy tour in October.
Adam Sandler Has Undergone a Hip Surgery This Summer, According to TMZ
The 56-year-old ‘Uncut Gems’ actor has been spotted walking with a cane after having a pre-scheduled surgery that took place around Labor Day. The ‘Grown Ups’ star is currently between projects and will be starting his upcoming tour in October, so it makes sense that he needed to have the procedure done.
Despite the fact that it looks like Sandler’s been using a cane for weeks, the ‘Uncut Gems’ star doesn’t seem to be in any pain from his hip surgery at all. He was also spotted wearing oversized basketball shorts, a Hawaiian shirt and sneakers while holding onto his cane during an interview with AARP.

He’s been a very busy man this year, making a dramatic movie comeback with 2022’s Netflix basketball drama Hustle and starring in the uncut gems film You Are SO Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah!
While it wasn’t his best work, it was still good for the ‘Grown Ups’ star to get into a more serious role. He teamed up with LeBron James for the movie, which got moderate to good reviews from critics.
Just Go With It is a 2011 romantic comedy directed by Dennis Dugan and stars Sandler, Jennifer Aniston and Nicole Kidman. It is loosely based on the 1969 Walter Matthau comedy Cactus Flower, and it’s Sandler’s sixth time working with Dugan.
As Danny, he enlists his loyal assistant Katherine (Jennifer Aniston) to help him find love in this odd romantic comedy that is full of surreal gags and absurd relationships. Katherine is a divorced mom with two kids, Bailee Madison and Griffin Gluck, who is more than happy to play along with the sex-based antics of her Beverly Hills plastic surgeon.
It’s a familiar premise, but the filmmakers tone down the mercenary voraciousness of his playmates and give him a chance to show off his skill at making women feel beautiful. It’s a bit stale, but the cast and the film itself are a lot of fun, and if you’re looking for a laugh, it’s worth checking out.

The ‘Uncut Gems’ actor isn’t a fan of his own sexyness, but that doesn’t stop him from trying to play the part of a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon in this film. He’s also a very talented actor, so it’s no surprise that his character is able to pull off some pretty hilarious sight gags while on the job.
Throughout this movie, Sandler tries to convince audiences that he’s a successful plastic surgeon, and he’s got a lot of tricks up his sleeve when it comes to getting his patients’ attention. Among them is the fact that he wears a wedding ring even though he’s not married. It’s a ploy that’s been successful for him in the past, and it’s one that he continues to use. As he tries to attract the attention of a young woman named Palmer, played by SI swimsuit model Brooklyn Decker, it’s obvious that he’s hoping to win her heart.
